The Clonakilla story continues to deepen along with the Canberra Wine District, both now entrenched in Australia and with global recognition. This elevated sense of place, captured with photography and video from General Manager David Reist, was at the centre of the design of Clonakilla’s new website.
The Shopify theme created is customised and sits tightly alongside the Clonakilla brand, whilst providing the best ecommerce experience for modern consumers.
Site planning begins with UI/UX wire framing of each section. This design process was completed in conjunction with Clonakilla stakeholders via an online review process.

Story remains central for Clonakilla; the beginnings in a family hotel in Ireland, a CSIRO scientist being the first to plant vineyards where there was no wine industry, through to the rich local community that has now been built around this family-owned business.
Authentic and real language
Wherever possible, language used comes directly from John and Tim Kirk. Our consistent archiving of interviews and articles over many years has given our team excellent resources to draw from.
A museum wine section has provided an online searchable archive for enthusiasts, based on decades of notes carefully maintained.
A fully integrated system
Working with our software integration partners, the new Shopify website is connected to ERP, CRM, POS, Accounting and Email Marketing, allowing a fully integrated software solution for Clonakilla and its customers, whether buying online or at cellar door.
