Clonakilla is one of the great success stories of Australian wine. John Kirk and son Tim have been pioneers in cool climate shiraz in the Murrumbateman wine region, with the Shiraz Viognier now firmly established as an iconic wine and the Clonakilla winery a place of significance in the landscape of wine in Australia.

The new website was designed with landscape and place at the forefront, with expansive layouts suitable for displaying beautiful photography and video. From founder, John Kirk, “I believe that back in that now distant year of 1971, more than half a century ago, more by good luck than good management, I stumbled upon the site with a good terroir.”

Integrated systems

Working with our software integration partners, the Shopify website is connected to ERP, CRM, POS, Accounting and Email Marketing, allowing a fully integrated software solution for Clonakilla and its customers, whether buying online or at cellar door.

A museum wine section has provided an online searchable archive for enthusiasts, based on decades of notes carefully maintained.

Authentic and real language

Wherever possible, language used comes directly from John and Tim Kirk. Our consistent archiving of interviews and articles over many years has given our team excellent resources to draw from.
